My journey of learning has taken me many places including where I received my Master's degree in counseling. In following my desire to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually, I chose the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) through Bastyr University to obtain both my Bachelor's and Masters degrees. I think I made a great choice as I received very thorough academic and experiential training and an abundance of both personal and professional growth. My education, training and experience include:

• Bachelors of Science in Applied Behavioral Science - Bastyr University

• Adjunct faculty  Psychology Department/Bastyr University

• Private practice  Primary work with individuals, couples, families and groups.

• 20 years experience in helping others to recover from substance abuse and eating disorders.

• 15 years experience teaching dance to adults, adolescents, and children from a wide range of diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Public speaking on eating disorders and variety of other topics.

• Volunteer work at King County Crisis Clinic.

• Clinical Internship Compass Health, Lynnwood, Washington. Primary work with individuals, couples, families and groups.

• Mediation Training - Dispute Resolution Center of Snohomish and Island Counties.

• Tutor for adolescents in life planning, test anxiety, college placement essays, organizational and study skills and academics including math, science and language arts.

• Spokesperson Previous presenter for the National Counsel for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
